Doctors of Chiropractic undergo intense training as primary health care providers focusing on the course of diagnosis and treatment conditions which has something to do with the joints, ligaments, muscles, extremities (also known as the musculoskeletal system) and the nerves. They are highly skilled in manipulative procedures, they are educated in orthopedics, neurology, physiology, human anatomy and clinical diagnosis which includes laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, exercise, nutrition rehabilitation, among others.

Before being accepted in the chiropractic college, a nearly four (4) years of pre-medical undergraduate education is a requirement, this includes courses in biology, psychology, physics, chemistry and other related lab work. As per acceptance of the candidate to the accredited Chiropractic college, the candidate will need to complete 4-5 academic years of professional study. A minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical experience is required once enrolled in Chiropractic College.
